Located at the beautiful Salt Spring Center of Yoga, this retreat is designed to help you deepen your yoga practice through Vinyasa Flow and Yin classes with optional hands-on assists, pranayama (breathwork) sessions, and guided meditations.

You will also explore yogic philosophy and learn how you can apply these principles to your daily life to enhance wellbeing. Additionally, the retreat features a grounding chai ceremony, nutritious vegetarian lunch, guided nature walk to a nearby lake (swimming optional!), and an uplifting session of Kirtan.

After nourishing your body, mind and soul and connecting with like-minded community, you’ll leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and reconnected with your higher self!
Meet your Hosts
Rebekah Erickson
Welcome! I'm Rebekah, a certified meditation facilitator, yoga teacher and wellness educator with a vision to combine ancient spiritual practices with modern psychological science to help people live happier, healthier, more purposeful and connected lives. As the founder of Anchored Mind, I host meditation and wellness workshops and events, drawing upon the knowledge I've gained from my training as a meditation and yoga teacher, background in psychology and public health (MSc, BA), working in mental health and wellness promotion, and studying various spiritual traditions. I'm passionate about the transformation that comes from tuning into the present moment, exploring our minds, opening our hearts, and connecting more deeply to ourselves, our community, and our purpose.
Karla Gonzalez
Born in Mexico City, my journey into the world of yoga began at the age of twelve. This early start led me down a transformative path of self-healing and self-knowledge. My first introduction to yoga was in 2008 with the 26and2 series, and in 2014, I started sharing my passion as a teacher. My teachings are deeply rooted in the traditions of the Ghosh and Ashtanga yoga lineages. My love for movement and holistic wellness inspired me to pursue studies in holistic nutrition and herbal medicine, equipping me to support others in their health journeys. Today, I am dedicated to teaching yoga and leading retreats, creating spaces for growth and transformation. As a Holistic Nutritionist and Herbalist, I also offer personalized health consultations online, helping clients achieve balance and vitality in their lives.
Radiant Renewal Retreat is co-hosted by Rebekah Erickson from Anchored Mind and Karla Gonzalez from Rooted Path, two experienced and certified yoga and meditation teachers and wellness practitioners living in Victoria BC.
Location and Travel
The Salt Spring Centre of Yoga, founded in 1981 by Baba Hari Dass, is Canada's longest-running spiritual and wellness retreat centre. Nestled on 69 acres of lush forest, farmland, and protected wetlands, it offers a serene and sacred space for yoga, spiritual practice, and retreats.

The Centre is located at 355 Blackburn Rd on Salt Spring Island. If you are traveling from Vancouver Island, you can take the ferry to Saltspring and back within the same day to attend the retreat, which runs from 10am-6pm on September 7th.

If you would like to extend your stay, accommodation options are available at the Centre at an additional cost, including camping or room rentals. Please let us know if you would like this arranged. ​​​​
Registration
The retreat is $150 to attend, which includes a delicious vegetarian lunch, homemade chai, and nourishing snacks.
