About

Welcome to Anchored Mind. I'm Rebekah, a meditation guide, yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator and wellness educator passionate about sharing practices that have been a catalyst for growth and healing in my own life with others. These tools, rooted in ancient wisdom traditions and backed by modern science, enable us to tune into the present moment, explore our minds, open our hearts and connect more deeply to ourselves, our community, and our purpose.

I draw upon the knowledge I've gained through my training as a certified meditation teacher (200hr at Lab of Meditation) and yoga teacher (+200hr at MA Yoga), education in public health (MSc, MPH) and psychology (BA), 13 years of studying various spiritual traditions, and 8 years of working in mental health and wellness promotion in academic and non-profit institutions.

Most importantly, I've applied these timeless spiritual practices and teachings to overcome adversity within my own life - and it's become my life's joy and purpose to help others do the same.

Offerings

I offer group and private 1-1 meditation, breathwork and yoga classes and facilitate workshops, discussion groups and circles in a variety of settings, including retreats, workplaces, conferences, schools, community events, studios, online, and my personal favourite, the beautiful parks and beaches of Victoria BC, Canada.

I am trained in Vinyasa Flow and Hatha yoga and draw from several meditation styles and techniques including mindfulness, visualization, reflection, body scan, compassion, loving-kindness (metta), and insight meditation. The workshops I offer cover a range of topics including mindfulness, well-being at work, managing stress, nervous system regulation, self-compassion, cultivating joy and gratitude, manifestation, forgiveness, and building resilience.

I also design and sell clothing and other apparel featuring uplifting, inspiring messages on my online shop.

Testimonials

"Having attended two of Rebekah’s workshops, I left both with a deeper understanding of myself and my community. Her integration of spiritual teachings, psychological research, meditation, and meaningful reflection helped me to challenge unconscious patterns and experience personal growth. Through her calm nature, passion and knowledge, I was able to deeply reflect and connect to ideas and concepts that were once ambiguous and are now applicable and practical in my life."
